Introducing Townhouse

Parents look for many different things when choosing a nursery such as location, price, opening times or recommendation. Whilst all these things are important, our experience tells us that the top priority for most parents is finding somewhere they know their child will be treated with love, care and as a unique individual. The adults providing this need to know and understand the needs of young children and how to respond to them with compassion and respect.

This is what you can expect at Townhouse. A commitment to building authentic and meaningful relationships with parents which will enable us to provide the very best care and learning opportunities for your child.

Both Townhouse nurseries in Alsager are classed as OFSTED Outstanding and share the same ethos about children and passion for early years, but in two unique and diverse settings.

Book a Visit
Townhouse is a warm and welcoming nursery and all the staff are simply outstanding. Both my sons have attended, one still currently and there was no hesitation in sending him there like his brother, in fact my eldest quite often says he wishes he was still there!
I leave each morning knowing I have left my son in a lovely, fun, caring environment and would highly recommend Townhouse to any parent.

The first time we looked around Townhouse Nursery and met the manager Janet, we left with what can only be described as a 'warm' feeling and a sense that we had found the right childcare for our baby who was just 3 weeks old at this time. What impressed us the most (and continues to) is how well the staff know the children. The baby room and the sleep are both lovely environments. We were particularly impressed with the facilities within the pre-school room; the space it has to offer and the opportunities for children to explore and learn. We made the decision there and then to book a place for Millie and have had no regrets since. Though happy to see us at the end of the day, Millie never appears to be in a rush to leave - she has lots of fun every day. We are both very happy with our choice and would thoroughly recommend Townhouse to other parents.

All three of my children have attended Townhouse. My youngest son started his journey in the baby room. Nursery staff ensured the transition from rooms was exceptional. Due to this my son has had a positive experience at Townhouse. The staff are always friendly and informative and ensure that my sons needs are at the forefront. I would recommend the nursery due to the outstanding care they have provided over the years.

Our Rooms

The nursery environment plays a vital part in children’s well-being. We believe that children should feel a sense of belonging at nursery and so everything about the rooms, resources and furniture we use is designed to encourage independence and foster childrens’ self confidence. In keeping with our overall philosophy and approach to early years teaching, the environment too is influenced by a range of early years approaches, including Steiner, Montessori, High Scope and Reggio. One of the first things you will notice is that nursery looks inviting and enticing to not only children, but adults too! Provocations for learning and play are everywhere to be seen and child sized furniture and resources tell children that this is a space for them. Somewhere to play, imagine, create, experiment and be together.
